1. EasyPark, what is it?EasyPark is a mobile service for all motorists who want to simplify their everyday car parking. With the EasyPark service motorists and companies can create more convenient, more secure and more efficient everyday car parking. 2. How does it work - how do you pay for the time you park?EasyPark telephone parking is a very simple service to use;- the motorist makes a call to start and stop the parking service- EasyPark measures the exact time between the start and stop and charges the appropriate rate, charged against any payment/credit card or against invoice. 3. How does the parking attendant know that you have paid?The parking attendant checks via a hand-held terminal directly in the street. The check takes place in real time with EasyPark´s control system. The check is made against the car´s license plate number by means of the license plate being photographed or the parking attendant checking with the control system, and then receiving the answer in the hand-held terminal; parked, paid or not parked, not paid. 4. Perhaps not everybody has a cell phone with them, how can they pay then?EasyPark´s system also enables start of car parking via the website, i.e. the customer can start the car parking via the Internet. EasyPark´s customer service can also help in such situations. However, EasyPark´s experience is that the correlation between “drives car" and “has cell phone" is 100%. 5. You are from Gothenburg, is the system available in Gothenburg today?The system currently covers all street areas in Gothenburg as well as the EuroPark company´s establishments, such as Parking Garage Avenyn (P-hus Avenyn) and Gothenburg Central Station, with both short and long-stay parking. In collaboration with Gothenburg´s parking companies the plan is now to launch additional parking areas in the fall such as at Heden and Focushuset, where the demand is strong.
