Oil prices will increase
Opec projects that oil prices will continue to rise. Prices are currently about $80 a barrel, but increased demands, particularly in China and the Middle East, are driving up prices. Slow growth in the OECD countries has a dampening effect, but the increasing shortage of new and easily accessible oil deposits is slowly driving prices upward.
