Saab selling off segments
Fouriertransform, the Swedish government-owned venture-capital company aimed at the automotive industry, joined forces with business financing and development organization ALMI to take over Saab Automobile Transmission AB and form a new company - Vicura AB.
The new company, which includes 47 engineers from Saab, has specialized expertise in transmissions and is now offering its services on the market. Vicura rents premises from Saab in Trollhättan. Saab will also be a customer, but will have no ownership shares.
