Uddevalla plant once again all Volvo
Pininfarina has announced that they will no longer help build Volvo cars (C 70) in Uddevalla after 2013. The company will now focus solely on design, product development and sustainable mobility, and will be winding up their production segment. Volvo CC, which already owns 40% of the plant in Uddevala, will take over Pininfarina's 60% and continue production at the plant. The plant employs over 600 people.
