Volvo PV collaboration with Siemens
Volvo PV and Siemens have entered into an agreement regarding electric vehicle development. Volvo PV has also decided to invest in full hybrids, which the company sees as a necessity if it is to compete in the USA with large autos such as the XC 90.

AB Volvo get new CEO
Olof Persson took over the leadership of AB Volvo on September 1. He tells us in an interview that he'll be keeping his foot close to the brake pedal and he'll react quickly if sales fall. It's a well-known fact that truck sales fall when the economy weakens.
